This little suction cup enhanced desk set started as a promotional concept for a pharmaceutical drug treating anemia due to chemotherapy. Ironically, the marketing brand team were focusing on the “stability” of the drug in advertising campaigns. Years later, the drug is now pulled off the market. The FDA have banned Erythropoiesis-Stimulating Agents (ESAs) in medication after studies proved it increased tumor growth and actually shortened the life of patients with cancer.
The marriage of this pharmaceutical remedy and cure of disease was false belief, it never happen. Although never put into mass production, this little family of desk items still survived it’s forefathers. Happy, cheerful and on firm feet.
